FIFA 21: Brief Introduction on Patch Updates on Jan. 27

On Jan. 27, EA Sports FIFA 21 released the ninth patch updates of FIFA 21, partially revising the current gameplay, it may affect some players' gaming experience. Below please check the brief introduction on the updates in FIFA 21 made on January 27, 2021, hope it could be helpful for every gamers.
The details of 9th updates in FIFA 21
On Jan. 27, EA Sports started to release the 9th updates in FIFA 21 on the platform of PC; that for PS4 and X1 will be followed in several days. The main contents of this updates refer to “'reduced Flick Up ball trajectory consistency in cases where the Flick Up is performed directly following a Skill Move “and also “reduced the effectiveness of Volleyed Chip Shots when taken from 35 feet/10.67 meters and beyond.“ In addition, there are still lots of aspects updated in the official description by EA Sports, here we just list several principal ones as below:
Gameplay
Following changes have been made:
· The consistency of ball trajectory will be reduced after successfully performing a Skill Move with the ball launching into the air.
· The consistency of ball trajectory will be reduced in cases where the Flick Up is performed directly following a Skill Move.
· The consistency of ball trajectory will be reduced when running to perform a Flick Up. The faster, the more likely to make mistakes.
· The effectiveness of Volleyed Chip Shots will be reduced when taken from 35 feet/10.67 meters and beyond, that taken from 17.76 meters or further will be less effective, perhaps just with half success rate of 10.67 meters.
· Greatly reduced the possibility of the referee calling for stopping the match during a potential opportunity of goal scoring before the end of the match. And the injury time becomes a bit more than before.
The following problems have been solved:
· When the defending player against the Bridge Skill Move while Jockeying, his speed will temporarily slow down unconsciously.
· When a defending player is tackling but fails, his foot sometimes may pass through the ball.
· In an offline match, the defending team’s AI will not press for the ball upon the goalkeeper’s specific passing.
Video and Audio:
· Updated some jerseys, Tifos, 2D images, celebration gestures and football boots.
· Added some commentary lines about Beckham.
· Updated 1 star-head, and added 4 legendary heads.
This 9th updates changed not too much, so the gamers who never or seldom play the skills may not feel these changes. Frankly speaking, the gameplay on Flick Up ball is indeed unreasonable a lot; after the midfielder kick-off, the players of high skills and agility can flick up continuously to the forbidden zone.
